(2009) Mercenaries

Trained by the American Special Forces and Central Intelligence Agency to conduct various missions in Afghanistan and Pakistan’s Federally Administered Tribal Areas.

This unit of 14 men was assigned to an American and Afghan Combat Operating Post after a 2009 suicide bombing in Shamal District, Khost Province.

During the height of the conflict these units did not fall under any government or military rules. This allowed them to deal with insurgents, seized narcotics and weapons in anyway they saw fit.
